Get to Know Superintendent at Mornings with Melbye Events

Superintendent Eric Melbye wants to hear from Bloomington community members at one of his Mornings with Melbye events, returning for a second school year.

Get to know your superintendent and chat with him about issues affecting our schools and community over a cup of coffee at one of several local establishments this school year. Purchase your favorite morning beverage, if desired, and sit down with Dr. Melbye for a casual conversation in a relaxed environment.

Mornings with Melbye event take place 9-9:30 a.m. monthly on Wednesdays. No registration is required. See the schedule below for all 2025-26 dates and locations.

• Oct. 28 - McDonald's, 4000 W Old Shakopee Rd (France Ave & Old Shakopee Rd location)
• Nov. 2026 - No event due to Thanksgiving Break
• Dec. 2026 - No event due to Winter Break
• Jan. 27 - Mugshots Coffee, 10518 France Ave S
• Feb. 24 - McDonald's, 9529 Lyndale Ave S
• March 31 - McDonald's, 8030 Nicollet Ave (Nicollet Ave & American Blvd location)
• Apr. 28 - West Side Perk, 7700 W Old Shakopee Rd
